Final Four Baby!!!

Hey everyone, hope you all are as excited as I am. If you don’t know and was under a rock this weekend, University of Louisville and University of Kentucky both advanced to the final four in New Orleans! This is the first time the two programs are meeting in the final four and really should be a great match up come this Saturday evening. The state of Kentucky is overly excited and anticipating a great rematch from their last meeting on December 31st of last year. UK has won the last three match ups and barely escape their last meeting in Rupp with a 69-62 victory. UK beat Western University, Iowa St., Indiana, and Baylor to advance and is lead by Doron Lamb and phenom freshman star Anthony Davis. U of L beat Davison, New Mexico, Michigan St., and Florida to advance and is lead by two ambitious guards Peyton Siva and Russ Smith. This is UK’s 15th final four appearance and hope to bring home their eighth national championship. In U of L’s mens basketball history this will be their ninth appearance to the final four and have two championships under their belt. Even though I attend U of L, I have been a diehard UK fan all my life, so yes….I will be wearing blue on Saturday at 6:09pm, cheering on the Wildcats! Regardless of whoever wins the game, it is a great moment to be a Kentuckian and I know for a fact either UK or UofL will bring home the ship! Be sure to check out the game on CBS Saturday evening at 6:09pm. Peace. ✌#goCats #goCards

My Secret Love for Big Blue

Hey bloggers, hope all is well…and you had a a great spring break. I spent most of mine on the couch catching up on much needed rest and college basketball. It is great to be an Kentuckian right now since we had four schools selected in the NCAA tournament. Even though I attend the University of Louisville, I am a diehard University of Kentucky fan. Go cats! I do respect U of L and their impressive run to the elite 8 (so far!). Their players have improved a lot and seem to catch wind going in to the Big East Championship. Non to less the cards are one of the toughest defensive teams in the country. It is kinda hard being a UK fan on UofLs campus because everyones feels my loyalty should be toward the cards. However, as a native Kentuckian I am a lifetime cats fan! I really hope that Louisville and Kentucky have an opportunity to meet in the final four to finally decide who will be the king of the bluegrass! If this Dream does come true I will for sure be in the N.O. wearing blue baby. Well keep your fingers cross and I talk to you next week! #GoCats #GoCards
